Themes

The eight themes identified in the Wealden Sustainable Community Strategy (pdf, 101kb) as particularly important to the wellbeing of Wealden people are:

Theme Groups

Theme Groups are partnerships led by the relevant theme champion. They are intended to take forward the work highlighted by the Community Strategy and identify priorities and issues which need to be considered at a strategic level by the LSP as a whole.  Wealden LSP is currently undertaking a review of its theme groups to ensure that they are still appropriate and fit for purpose.

Wealden Community Sports and Leisure Network

The Wealden Community Sports and Leisure Network (CSN) aims to increase participation and volunteering in sport and physical activity. It brings together a range of relevant organisations and bodies, schools and sports club alliances.  Further information is available from the Sussex County Sports Partnership and Wealden District Council.
